Meet Steve & Erin Herman!

We are Steve and Erin Herman, homeowners on Pelican Lake for over 20 years. We have four adult children and nine grandchildren, and are recently retired from IT and Elementary Principal careers. Though the resort life is new to us, generations of families have been enjoying this amazing spot on Pelican Lake for 100 years! Formerly known as Jones Bay Resort (1922) and then Hawkey Resort (1971), we at Jones Bay Cottages on Pelican (2022) look forward to the return of the many families that have vacationed at our cottages for decades, and are excited for the opportunity to welcome and get to know new guests to our resort.
